“Serenity is an Airbnb that screams elite Bed-n-Breakfast. If you are not sociable in the slightest or don’t like hospitality at all, then you don’t want to visit this most beautiful of venues in the AirBnB world. The view of the Rocky Mountains just can’t be beat, and you’ll find yourself wanting to take pictures of it at sunrise and sunset (which lasts seemingly forever and is painted in every hue from pink to purple). Hostess (with definitely the mostest) Lorraine will make you part of the family in short order, if you let her, and you will never want to leave. Not only does this place have everything you need, it has everything you didn’t know you also needed. Lorraine has thought through the entire experience for her guests and has planned for every possible necessity, to include a First Aid Kit conveniently stored in the bathroom cabinet. Shampoo, soaps, and lotions are in plentiful supply, so don’t bring those - hers smell AMAZING. You actually have a choice of rooms, either on the main floor of the house or downstairs as a walk-out unit, the latter of which allows you a private entrance. Do you like hot tubbing? It’s available, and your hostess will make sure you have the right temperature and correct bubble treatment programmed. Does a sauna sound good? They have one, and they provide a robe and slippers, too, so you don’t need to bring those. Do you like sitting around a fire pit? Good, because there are at least two of them on the property. Want an in-home movie theatre? Yup, got one, and Lorraine probably would make the popcorn for you and your 17 other guests, because she has seating for 18 in that room. And then, when you’re done watching your movie, you can just turn around and play pool. There’s a Keurig coffeemaker in your room, with a variety of Kcups and teas from which to choose. Lorraine even has a bottle of wine sitting and waiting for you. The bedroom is decorated tastefully, and the bed is super comfy. Extra blankets and throws are visible, so you don’t have to hunt for them, if needed. Nightstands and side chairs are welcome additions in the room. We stayed here during summertime, so the overhead fan was a nice convenience, but I suspect the pretty electric fireplace would come in handy during winter months. There’s a desk in the room, too, so if you had to do work, you could do it easily. Lorraine is a stylist by trade, and her spa studio looked oh-so-tempting, but we just hadn’t plugged in enough time for that. What we did have time for, though, was sitting on her decks and patios, overlooking that spectacular view while sipping drinks. Can you say inner peace? That’s what you get in plentiful supply here. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family In Cheyenne and Fort Collins during this trip, but next time we come here, we’re going to plan to spend way more time with Lorraine and her family. ”

“Lorraine was a wonderful host, and her place - the room, the house, the setting - was amazing! I was skeptical about the drive from downtown, but it was worth every minute of it (10-15 minute drive). The view of the Rocky Mountains during the day, and of the lights of Ft. Collins at night while in the hot tub, was gorgeous. The room was comfortable and clean, and had more than we needed (water, coffee, wine, along with robes and slippers for the hot tub and sauna)! Lorraine cooked up a huge breakfast each day, and served it on one of her decks one morning and in her beautiful house the next morning! We felt like we were at home! It was all very peaceful and serene, and we will definitely go back!”
